What is the Coordination Council of Private Sector Institutions in Palestine?

The Coordination Council for Private Sector Enterprises in Palestine is an umbrella national framework that includes private sector institutions, and works to enhance coordination and integration among them, with the aim of unifying efforts and highlighting the role of the private sector as a key partner in economic and social development.
The Council seeks to represent and defend the interests of the private sector, and to unify its positions on issues and policies that affect the business and development environment in Palestine, in order to ensure sustainable and effective growth.

What are the objectives of the Council?
The Council aims to:

  • Enhance coordination and cooperation between private sector institutions to ensure integration and effectiveness in plans, programs and projects.
  • Unifying the positions of private sector institutions towards economic and development issues of common interest.
  • Protecting and defending the interests of the private sector in front of various parties and in all forums.
  • Develop dialogue and partnership with PNA institutions to ensure the effective participation of the private sector in the formulation of economic and financial policies and legislation.
  • Expressing opinions and contributing to the development of investment, tax, customs and trade legislation and systems in order to serve economic development and promote the growth of the private sector.
