Palestinian Private Sector Members Meet Moroccan Ambassador to Bolster Economic Cooperation

RAMALLAH – Mr. Nassar Nassar, Secretary of the Palestinian Private Sector Coordinating Council, along with several council members, received His Excellency Abderrahim Meziane, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Deputy Ambassador Mr. El Mehdi Bouanan today. The meeting was dedicated to exploring avenues for strengthening bilateral economic ties between Palestine and Morocco.

Enhancing Strategic Economic Relations

The discussions focused on the vision of the Coordinating Council and the General Federation of Palestinian Industries to elevate economic relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations. During the session, Mr. Nassar Nassar provided a comprehensive briefing on the significant challenges currently facing the Palestinian economy during this exceptional period.

Economic relations between Palestine and Morocco have seen steady growth, driven by:

• Enhanced trade and investment cooperation.

• Exchange of expertise across various industrial and commercial fields.

• Operationalizing the 2022 Agreement: Actively implementing the provisions of the partnership agreement signed between the Palestinian and Moroccan Business Councils on December 9, 2022.

This growing cooperation reflects a shared commitment to expanding economic partnerships and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people.

Addressing National Hardships

Welcoming the Ambassador, Mr. Nassar Nassar emphasized the vital importance of collaborative action to find effective solutions. He stressed the need to continue working through all available channels to alleviate the hardships and daily indignities faced by Palestinian citizens under current conditions.
